Before I created Pawsitively Puppy Love, my kids convinced me that they wanted a dog. We found the cutest Shih Tzu mix at the Broward County Animal Care and Adoption Center. That day was like taking my baby home from the hospital. The only problem was she smelled so bad I had to drive home with the windows rolled down.
My little fur baby had just been spayed; a requirement before she could be adopted. Of course, that also meant she could not bathe for 2 weeks. So, we had to either live with the awful dog pound smell or come up with another solution.
I tried using wet wipes to wipe her down, but the best solution was something that I could spray on her fur away from her incision.
